I hear the first PRIDE was a riot.

Stonewall Inn: 1969. After yet another police raid, and getting arrested and roughed up a bit, a woman named Storme DeLarverie threw the first punch. After that, the riot erupted and the patrons of the Stonewall Inn started throwing hands with the cops.

Not too long after, the bricks came out. Opinions vary as to whether Marsha P. Johnson threw the first brick or not. But bricks were thrown, and bricks were Marsha’s weapon of choice when dealing with harassing police…

There are STILL families and children in cages on our borders. Immigration is still separating families. And ICE is still kicking in doors, even during a pandemic! Abolish ICE!
